The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) is the peak body for the use of ultrasound in medicine across Australia and New
Zealand. Through providing accredited training and education, member services, and events, ASUM is committed to their mission of fostering
a collaborative multi-disciplinary community of highly competent health professionals who deliver ultrasound excellence.
As diagnostic ultrasound is the most widely used imaging modality, with new applications and technological advancements continually being
developed, ASUM represents the professionals working on the frontlines, making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector and wider
community.
About the role
Collaborating closely with the Board of Directors, the CEO will play a crucial role in elevating
the organisation, improving member engagement, and advocating for the profession. As a compassionate and energetic leader, the CEO will
create a positive work environment, apply evidence-based practices, and ensure the organisation's future success by investing in staff,
volunteers, and systems.
